The Orphan Quilt Top Project #QuiltsfortheCamp

It's winter in Minnesota and there are 150+ people living outside right now at the Franklin/Hiawatha Encampment/Wall of Forgotten Natives who are in need of blankets (amongst other things.)

SO that leads me to this: Do you have a quilt that you "fell out" with? Maybe you started a project that never got finished? Or you just don't like the colors anymore? Or maybe it's been so many years you don't know where to start again? Let's make those orphan quilt tops useful!

I'll be collecting unquilted quilt tops (and of course finished quilts if you like) to make into functional quilts to bring to the camp in the coming weeks. I know we all have these tops in our stashes, let's get them out and do something good with them. I've got two of my own in mind right now! I'll provide the backing and the batting, all you need to do is get me your orphaned quilt top!

Contact the studio to get your tops to me.

Easy-peasy, right? Let's see what we can come up with quilters!

If you'd like to see what else is being called for check out this site. Blankets are only part of what's needed.
