Mystic Fable by Alexia Marcelle Abegg

Mystic Fable is a magical new fabric collection by Alexia Abegg for Ruby Star Society. Inspired by dreamy fairy tales, antique appliqué quilts, and traditional house quilt blocks, this collection blends nostalgic motifs with a fresh, modern palette—including unexpected pops of neon.

The collection includes 24 quilting cottons and 4 canvas prints, perfect for everything from quilts to bags, home décor, and accessories. A standout large-scale panel print features whimsical animal shapes drawn from vintage appliqué traditions—ideal for wall hangings, table runners, or stretching on canvas as fabric art.

Preorder Policy

  • No cancellations on preorders
  • Payment is collected at the time of order; we will ship as soon as it gets to the shop, usually within 2 business days.
  • Please see the item's description for its estimated time of arrival. Estimated ship dates can change; unfortunately, this is out of our control. All items in a preorder will be shipped as soon as we get them.
  • Preorder items from a single collection should be the only items ordered for one checkout. Please place orders for in-stock items separately. If you order across multiple preorder collections, all will be held until the last item arrives. 
  • It is very common for collections to have precuts and yardage arrive at different times; if ordering both, it will not ship until all items are in!
